"I like this to use up leftover ham. I use healthy request cream of chicken soup becuase my kids would not eat it if they saw a mushroom. I also omit the butter and onion, again the kids would object to onion and sometimes its just tot worth the fight. My husband likes a little breadcrumb or crushed cracker on the top. I serve it with a nice big salad. " - scturner97

This was delicious and very easy! Adding it to roster of pasta bakes. I'm always worried about pasta bakes drying out in the oven but this didn't. A little salty with ham, cheese and soup but I just added some black pepper to the sauce

Had it and it was very good. Next time I will add bread crumbs on top to give it that little extra.

We had left over ham and this dish was a perfect way to use it up. Everyone loved it, even those in the family that are not big on hot dish. I would certainly make this again.

I made it with crushed ritz crumbs on top. Also used cream of chicken instead of the bland mushroom.

This recipe was really yummy! I added some canned diced tomatoes. (I'm a big tomato fan!) I did find it just a tad salty, so I would recommend using low-sodium ingredients, if possible.

I made this casserole after reading the reviews so I new it was going to be bland do I decided to add more ham, broccoli, more macaroni, whole mushrooms and carrots! It was delicious... It turned out so well. It only needs more ingredients to be perfect, I loved it and will make it again in the future :)

Very bland. Even extra onions and mushrooms didn't help.

As it stands, the recipe is bland. I added about 1/2 an onion, 1/2c peas, 2 pieces of celery, and a few mushrooms. I also spiced it with salt, pepper, and cayenne. I topped the casserole with crushed crackers for texture. Without the add-ons I wouldn't have enjoyed, but with this is good for a quick dinner.

I made this recipe the other day as a side dish. The recipe sounds way better than it actually tasted. I felt that the cream of mushroom soup was over powering and that it just tasted like noodles mixed with soup,... so a little on the bland side to me. No one else in the family cared for it, so probably won't be making it again.
