Original recipe makes 12 Servings
1/4 cSugar
1 tbCinnamon
1 qtmilk
2 Apples; peeled and grated
1/4 Butter
9 Eggs; beaten

Hawaiian Sweetbread Souffle Preparation

Slice bread 1/2 inch thick. Lay flat in a 9" x 12" pan. Dot with butter. Mix milk, beaten eggs and sugar well. Pour over bread and sprinkle with cinnamon and grated apples. Refrigerate overnight and bake uncovered for 1 hour in 350 degree oven. REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT From a book of my mothers (Judy Hosey) titled , mostly Japanese and Hawaiian.
