| 1 1/2 tsKosher salt |

| 1 tbSumac powder |
| 2 tsPowdered marjoram |
| 2 tsPowdered savory |
| 1/3 cSesame seed |
| Peel of 2 lemons; Finely minced |
Homemade Zataar (Middle Eastern Spice Blend) Preparation
Makes scant 3/4 cup In a small bowl, blend together oregano, thyme, savory, marjoram, sumac, sesame seed, kosher salt and lemon peel. Can be stored tightly covered 2 to 3 months.
