Traditional scandinavian Christmas cookies. Mmmm!
Cream butter and add sugar gradually. Add egg and beat. Add sifted flour together with salt and baking powder, then stir into butter mixture a little at a time. Add vanilla and almond extract. Use cookied press for desired shapes and decorate with sprinkles on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown around the edges. Remove from cookie sheet with spatula while still warm.
