A great green smoothie for the novice green drinker. The pear, grapes, orange and banana make for a sweet-enough smoothie while still providing the nutritional benefits from the kale.
Fill blender with as much water/ice as you like and add kale.
Blend until very smooth.
Add fruit. Pulse blend until smooth.
Due to the nature of kale, it's best to use a high-powered blender like a Vitamix or Blendtec. If using a standard-powered blender, be sure to blend the kale and water longer.

CookingPassion 3y agoTrying to experiment with more "green" drinks in my diet and this one was a hit in our house. Very tasty with added benefits of the kale.
