jaron80 5 years agoI am in the process of cooking this now, and my recipe (from a slow cooker cookbook) suggested adding a can of tomato paste to this--I didn't have any, so I added 4 oz. of tomato sauce.
daylightsun 8 years agoI diced the onion. This did not break down as much as I thought it would and I am sure the green pepper I used was so strong that it over powered everythig else. I would suggest tasting the green pepper before adding it.
