This is alfredo sauce extremely similar to the sauce at Olive Garden.
Combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese in a sauce pan. Simmer on medium heat until all is melted and mixed well. Add the shredded parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Simmer 15 - 20 minutes on low heat.
NOTE: to reheat this sauce, heat it on a stove. Microwaving the sauce turns it clumpy, greasy, and separates the ingredients.
If the sauce is not thick enough, add parmesan cheese to thicken.
