Suggest a better descriptionCook in double boiler until thick, stirring constantly. Let cool about 15 minutes. Then put in baked pie shell.
MERIGUE - mix together,
3 egg whites, 1 1/2 teaspoons corn starch, 6 tablespoons sugar.. Mix on high 2 tablespoons at a time of the sugar & corn starch mixture. After all is beaten add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.
Spread on pie filling making sure to cover edges. Bake 4 1/2 minutes at 425 degrees.
