These are so good!

"These are so good. I have now made them twice except I substitute the bags of chocolates from cost-co. They are called "Swiss Delice" and are squares that come in dark and milk chocolate (I use the dark). The bag is HUGE for about $12 and it weighs 1300g or 45.76oz. I discovered this because we had so many left over from Xmas that I didn't know what to do with all this chocolate. Now I know what to do with them!"

Ingredients

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter; softened
1 cup Granulated Sugar
1 cup brown sugar; packed
2 Eggs
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Sugar
1 bag Hershey Kisses; wrapper removed.

Preparation

DIRECTIONS:

Cream the butter and 1 cup of white sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar. Add eggs and blend. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and stir until well blended.

Measure out tablespoonfuls of dough and roll into balls. Roll cookies in 2 tablespoons of sugar. Place one Hershey Kiss in the middle of each cookie, pressing down slightly. Place 3 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) 8-10 minutes until set, but not hard. Do not overbake. Leave on sheets for 2 minutes before removing. Cool, and store in covered container.

You can also leave the Hershey Kisses off and make a criss-cross pattern with a fork for delicious peanut butter cookies.

These were great! I LOVE PB cookies but haven't found a recipe I'm truly fond of yet. This dough is yummy. I actually made this recipe as PB cups rather than cookies. I took miniature muffin pan, rolled 1' dough balls and then placed the H. kiss upside down into the dough & topped w/ a pecan half. The cookie dough baked up around the chocolate & makes a nice finger food snack!

Soooo good!! I used peanut butter M&M's tho with mine I couldn't find mini Reese. Def will make again.

These turned out delish.. I used dark chocolate kisses and also the Hershey 'hugs' that are white chocolate. They were great though not all of them rose as they should. I think it was my faulty soda tho!
