New York style Cheese Cake made with cream cheese and sour cream
•Preheat oven to 325° F.
•Grease a 9 inch spring form pan.
•In a food processor, mix graham crackers with sugar, cinnamon, and walnut chips. In a medium bowl, add melted butter. Press onto bottom of spring form pan.
•Bake crust for 10 minutes
•In a large bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
•Blend in milk, and then mix in the eggs one at a time, mixing just enough to
incorporate.
•Mix in sour cream, vanilla and flour until smooth.
•Pour filling into prepared crust.
•Prepare a pan of boiling water to sit underneath the cheesecake instead of water bath, and place it in the oven in the rack under the one the cheesecake will sit on.
•Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
•Turn the oven off, and let cake cool in oven with the door closed for 2 to 6 hours
•Chill in refrigerator until serving.
Leave ingredients out overnight to ensure they are at room temperature before baking.
