Sprinkle dry salad dressing mix over chicken, sprinkle black pepper
Drizzle with oil
Add mushrooms (if using) with juice.
If not using, add ΒΌ cup chicken broth or water.
Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours
Remove chicken from pot and keep warm.
Turn crock to high
Add cream cheese and whisk
Add cream soup and whisk
Serve chicken and sauce with either mashed potatoes or noodles.
