Mix sugar, oats, coconut and flour in a bowl.
Melt the butter and mix with syrup.
Mix soda with water then tip this into butter.
Pour the butter mix into the flour mix and combine well.
Put teaspoons of mix on baking tray leaving room for them to spread.
Bake for 20 minutes in a moderate oven.
