debiwynstoni0n0b8g0j6d1 1y agoI am a beginner baker and love this recipe. I used butter instead of margarine, and used Granny Smith apples. I am surprised at how easy this was and how well it turned out. I had to cook it about 15 minutes longer than recipe stated, other than that very straightforward. I have made it 4 times now and my husband keeps asking me to make it again.
Priestpl 2y agoI added 1/4 cup of Apple sauce, t of cinnamon, and 1/2 cup walnuts to batter. 1/4 walnuts to topping
leahkenyon 3y agoThe taste was good. I added the cinnamon directly to the batter as well. Would chop the apples very small next time and spice the apples first before adding to the batter. Had to add 20 mins to baking time.
Candy3030 4y agoGreat recipe! Very simple to make and did not make any changes to the original recipe. I will absolutly be making this again! Thank you very much for sharing! :)
Waltchrisp 4y agoMy kids love this apple bread. I added some cinnamon to the apples. Thanks for the recipe!!
sknymnie 9y agoI made this apple bread and it's delicious!! My pan was smaller than the traditional loaf pan and took longer to bake, about 15 mins longer than the recipe time stated. The lenghty part was prepping the apples, but was well worth it! I also added about a tsp of cinnamon to the batter.
