I came up with this one evening using simple ingredients I had on hand. Went together quickly and became a family favorite!


Ingredients

2 16-oz can Apple Pie Filling
4 package Cinnamon Instant Oatmeal
2 tablespoon Cinnamon; ground
6 tablespoon Butter; sliced

Original recipe makes 1

9 x 9 Pan  

Preparation

In a 9 x 9 pan (sprayed with butter flavored non-stick spray) layer, in order, 1 can apple pie filling, 2 packets of instant cinnamon oatmeal, 1 tablespoon cinnamon and 3 pats of butter. Start a second layer, the same as the first. Place in a 400 degree oven for 40 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Try topping the crisp and ice cream with warm caramel sauce.
