A simple dessert that's served great with ice cream!
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Toss the apples in the white sugar, 1 tbsp flour, nutmeg, and ground cinnamon. Place the sliced apples in a 9x13 pan (Might not need water. The blending of apples with sugar brings out moisture). Pour water evenly all over.
3. Combine the oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cut the butter into the mixture. Crumble evenly over apple mixture.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
The topping is doubled for a 9x13.
