Apple cobbler recipe
Peel and slice apples. Fill 9x13 dish with apples, water, and cinnamon. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Blend remaining ingredients until crumbly. Spread over top of apples and bake uncovered at 350? for 45 minutes. (You can add 1/2 cup oats to topping).
"My mom used to make this a lot when we were little. She got it from her grandmother Salzer (her mother's mother). So we wouldn't burn our mouths we used to stir a little milk in or eat it with vanilla ice-cream. Although we rarely had left-overs, it is really good after sitting in the refrigerator until cold!"
"I made it once for one of my companions on my mission. He talked me into making it regularly for him after that. When we got home, he came to stay with my family while he attended school. He would beg my mom to make apple crisp for dessert all the time." -- Bryan Pocock
