This was better than I thought. It's so easy to make . I'll be making this again.

I made this recipe but added cinnamon or brown sugar on top if apples. Then right before you put it in the oven, I sprinkle just z bit more cinnamon and top it off with some chopped pralines. Delicious!

We ate it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice. Everyone loved it.

Hmmmm, I was hoping this would be as yummy as the reviews said it would be... it was like eating dry cake mix in spots. Good where the cake mix absorbed into the fruit and butter. If I try it again, I would double the fruit quantity and reduce the cake mix to even less than I used (about 2/3rds of the package).

I love this recipe. I had my boyfriends son make it for his dad. Not everyone can be a chef but every child needs a couple of quick and easy recipes to grow up with to keep in their arsenal. This one is a perfect one! It tastes amazing and truly a recipe for even the lowest skill level in the kitchen.

I was very skeptical about this recipe, I couldn't even imagine that it would come out good. I wouldn't exactly call it a cake as it is more like an apple crisp (or whatever pie filling you choose to use) but it is DELICIOUS either way. My kids have requested this for Christmas dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. My only criticism would be, that it really should be eaten warm and its not so great if there are left overs for the next day unless you warm it back up again. with that being said... a few seconds in the microwave and you're good to go. This recipe is a definite keeper, and one that will be tried over and over with different pie fillings. I think peach will be next. mmmmmmmmmm

This cake is so easy and delicious!!!! I had my doubts with the instructions but it turned out great and I have to say I could not stop eating it! I used cherry pie filling and yellow cake mix and followed the directions exactly from that point. It's dangerous it's so good! I'm going to try with blueberry and pineapple next.

I use one can of apple pie filling and one small can of pineapple with the cake mix over the top. My gma makes it with cherries and apples.
