Apple Honey Barbecue Sauce with A Bite

1/2 cup Butter
1/2 cup Corn oil
2 medium Onions; minced
2/3 cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey
2/3 cup Ketchup
1/2 cup Cider vinegar
1/2 cup Apple juice
1/2 cup Honey
1/2 cup Dark molasses
2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Salt

Original recipe makes 0



Melt butter in large saucepan; add oil. Cook several minutes over medium heat. Add onions and saute until golden. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low and cook until thick, approximately 40 minutes. Makes about 4 1/2 cups.
