Suggest a better descriptionArrange apples in a 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Combine cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. Reserve 1 tablespoon; sprinkle remaining mixture over apples. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, milk, remaining sugar, flour and baking powder. Drop by tablespoonfuls over apples; sprinkle reserved cinnamon/sugar on top. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, for sauce, combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and water in a saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until thick.
