- Place the Anchovies in Locking strainer (like a large tea ball) and place in the pot.
- Wash the mushrooms and place in pot whole, and add the Kelp
- Bring to a boil and simmer on Medium-High heat for 25 minutes
- While Stock is simmering, soak the Dangmyeon in cold water and make seasoning paste
- In a small bowl, combine the following and mix well:
Garlic Cloves
Hot Pepper paste
Hot pepper flakes
Soy Sauce
Sugar
2 tbsp Water
- Slice pork into bite sized pieces
- Add pork to boiling stock, cook on Medium - High heat for another 10 minutes
- Strain the stock into a bowl and add 1 tsp salt
- In a wide shallow pot add the:
Cabbage
Both kinds of onion
Pork
seasoning paste
Polish Sausage
Spam
Ramen and soaked Dangmyeon Noodles
Watercress (or whatever you're using)
Any optional ingredients
- Add 3 cups of stock to the shallow pot (not TOO full), Bring to Boil and simmer for 9-10 minutes.
- As the broth evaporates, add more broth, also, pour broth from the pot over the ingredients on the top occasionally.
- Serve
- As you serve, add more broth to the pot to replace what you removed.
- Serve with a bowl of rice on the side.
Don't know, haven't made it yet.
