Ox tongue, chicken, turkey, pork or beef cooked in own marinade
If cooking ox tongue, boil to peel outer skin. All other meats, cut to bite size pieces. Pour remaining marinade over meat in a covered bowl and marinate overnight.
To cook, remove potatoes from marinade. Boil meat, then simmer for 35 minutes. Add potatoes and continue simmering another 15 to 20 minutes or until meat is tender.
