Delicious dinner rolls can also be baked as a loaf. Be sure to double the recipe. They go fast!
Cook oatmeal, 2 cups boiling water, and 3 tablespoons butter and cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in 1/3 cup warm water. Combine oatmeal mixture, yeast mixture, sugars, and salt. Beat and knead in flour. Let rise until double. Form into rolls and let rise. Bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes.
