Ready in 45 minutes; part of Picnic Sweets collection

"Enjoy these pound cake bites for breakfast or as a late-night snack by the fire, or split and toast them with butter. Vanilla bean paste, which can be found at specialty food stores, gives these cakes a sublime goodness. And just as with classic pound cake, we loved the crusty top edges on these, too."

1 1/2 cups butter softened
1 package cream cheese; softened (8-oz.)
3 cups sugar
6 large Eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Cakes turned out moist and full of flavour. Only made one substitution of cake flour instead of all purpose and omitted the almond extract because I didn't have any.
