Bacon - Wrapped Broiled Shrimp

2 tbsp. Lemon juice
2 tbsp. Water
2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp brown sugar
1 1/2 lbs shrimp; peeled & deveined
1/2 slice bacon; per shrimp (sliced lengthwise) Louis Riche turkey bacon for cholesterol wat

Combine the lemon juice, water, seasonings, and brown sugar. Add the shrimp and toss until the shrimp are covered. Marinate for 1 hour or longer. Preheat the oven broiler to 400 degrees. Wrap each shrimp in one of the half slices of bacon and secure with toothpick. Arrange the shrimp on a greased broiling pan in a single layer. Baste the shrimp liberally with the marinade and broil, turning and basting frequently for 5 to 10 minutes, or until shrimp are cooked.
