This is what you should be able to get at the pizza restaurant, but can't. Seriously Addictive!

1 can Pizza dough; (Pillsbury)
1/2 cup Cheddar cheese; grated
6 slices Bacon; crumbled
1/3 cup parmesan cheese; grated
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Garlic salt
1 teaspoon Onion powder
1 teaspoon Oregano
1/4 cup olive oil; (approximately)
marinara sauce

Original recipe makes 12



Preheat oven to 400.

Unroll dough onto cookie sheet. Cut into sticks with a pizza cutter. (easier to do this now)

Sprinkle cheddar cheese and bacon over tops of breadstick dough, pressing lightly

Bake 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown

While dough is baking, combine the rest of the DRY ingredients.

Remove baked breadsticks from oven and brush with olive oil and quickly sprinkle evenly with parmesan, garlic powder, garlic salt, onion powder, and oregano.

Serve with warm marinara sauce.


Be careful not to overbake, you want the cheese nice and pliable. Leftovers may be popped in the microwave for about 30 sec. and they'll taste great!

Easy make but my dough was soaked in oil from the cheese. Anyway for the bread to be dry and crunchy? Other wise it tasted fine.

I liked the use of the pizza dough... it tasted like something I'd make more for my kids than a nice dinner. Was better with a pasta sauce than plain.

Well I made this recipe for 8 guests and myself, and it was a hung jury. Half of us didn't like it but the other half thought it was alright.
