Better Homes & Gardens 5 Ingredient Meals
1. Preheat broiler. Shape the ground beef into 8, 1/4" thick patties. Place one cheese slice on top of each of four patties; sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Place remaining four patties on top of the bacon-and-cheese-topped patties. Seal edges well
2. Place patties on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 3-4" from the heat for 10-12 minutes or until done (160F), turning patties once halfway through cooking. Place remaining four cheese slices on top of patties. Broil for 1 minute more.
3. Meanwhile, spread cut sides of toasted buns with the onion diop. Serve burgers on prepared buns.
shadrobinson 3y agoThese were great I added shredded Colby jack to the meat and put the bacon in a food processor and added it to the hamburger before I cooked them
CaliCook_916 4y agoSuper yummy! I added salt, pepper, garlic powder, bread crumbs and an egg to the beef and used American cheese cuz that's what we had. Kids loved em!
Mikefb 4y agoNice idea. Blue cheese works also.
ejsam27 4y agoReally loved these!! I have made cheese stuffed burgers in the past, but never thought to add bacon. I can't wait to try this with feta cheese and bacon next!
