Great Tuna melt for a quick easy meal

"Good recipe, but you don't need a whole cup of shredded cheese. In fact, there is not enough space to put this much cheese on only 2 slices of bread. You're fine with about 1/2 cup."

Ingredients

Are you making this?
2 slices Bread
1 tablespoon Cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1 can Tuna fish
3 tablespoon Mayonnaise
Diced Onion; To Taste
3 slices Bacon

Original recipe makes 1 Serving

Servings

Preparation

In a bowl combine Tuna, Mayonnaise, onion and bacon. Using a fork "fluff" up the Tuna and stir ingredients together.

Spread cream cheese on both pieces of bread, then add the Tuna over top. Once even, add the shredded cheese over top of each slice. Place in Oven at 300 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 10 min. once cheese is melted switch to broil and brown cheese for 5 min.

Cool and Enjoy

Used onion chive cream cheese for spread and doubled the recipe for dinner. Just baked and didn't broil it. Think I could have put more onions or onion powder in the tuna for our tastes. Husband like it, I thought was about a 4.
