Ingredients

24 large Scallops; cleaned
12 slices Bacon; cut In Half
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

Original recipe makes 4

Servings  

Preparation

Preheat broiler.

Combine 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 1/2 tsp paprika with 1 tsp. of garlic powder.

Wrap scallop with bacon strip and secure with toothpick.

Sprinkle spice mixture on scallop.

Place in broiler for 5-8 minutes.

Serve.

My only question is do you cook the Bacon before wrapping that scallion or in uncooked Bacon good

Tasted good, but needed a bit extra. Liked the suggestion on basil...I was thinking sage.
