Cut the bacon into thirds and wrap the Smokies. Place the wrapped Smokies in a single layer in a baking dish. Melt the stick of butter and stir in one cup of brown sugar. Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture over the Smokies. Then take the other cup of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over the smokies. Bake them for about 15-20 minutes. Then turn the oven up to 400 degrees and bake an additional 5 minutes or longer, until bacon is crispy.
