Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove Garlic; minced
1 cup Dry bread crumbs
2/3 cup Parmesan cheese; grated
1 teaspoon Dried basil
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper; ground
6 breasts Chicken

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a bowl, blend the olive oil and garlic. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, and pepper. Dip each chicken breast in the oil mixture, then in the bread crumb mixture. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, and top with any remaining bread crumb mixture. Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.

I loved it but I also used butter instead of olive oil, plus I added cayenne pepper and a little garlic salt. Very tasty

Amazing dish. Substituted regular bread crumbs with Panko Italian bread crumbs for a better crunch. Couple steps that I think this recipe is missing that are important. 1.) Chicken should be thawed 2.) cut breasts into smaller pieces, for the cook time given, they pieces need to be smaller. Optional 3.) After initial cook time, broil on top rack for 5 min

Great flavor! I made an adjustment and fried the chicken in the pan and added some panko with the breadcrumbs. Turned out nice and crispy!
