"Ok. So this was very good! I used garlic & herb bread crumbs and instead of fresh garlic, I seasoned the olive oil with garlic salt and pepper. I also put the oven on 400 instead of 350 for 30 minutes. The chicken was flavorful and moist. The bread crumbs didn't crisp up as much as I like, so I just hit it with the broiler for a couple of minutes. Perfection! Melted fresh mozzarella on top and served with angel hair pasta and homemade marinara. Very easy, very tasty. Definitely going in my cookbook!"

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove Garlic; minced
1 cup Dry bread crumbs
2/3 cup Parmesan cheese; grated
1 teaspoon Dried basil
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper; ground
6 breasts Chicken

Original recipe makes 6 Servings



Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a bowl, blend the olive oil and garlic. In a separate bowl, mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan

cheese, basil, and pepper. Dip each chicken breast in the oil mixture, then in the bread crumb mixture. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish, and top with any remaining

bread crumb mixture. Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.

this was awesome with creamy parmesan spinach

I loved it but I also used butter instead of olive oil, plus I added cayenne pepper and a little garlic salt. Very tasty

This was easy to do and made the house smell wonderful! I put my own twist on it by using grape seed oil with the minced garlic and let it sit for about 10 minutes before coating chicken. Also used panko bread crumbs bc that's what I had. Then added dried Italian herbs and bouquet garni and fresh chopped parsley to dry mixture. YUMMO!!!

I need more flavor than this. So, I added powdered garlic and dried onion to the breading mix. Other than that, perfect!

I used egg instead of oil and substituted basil with thyme...worked nicely. A good idea would to add a little mustard to it if you'd like a bit of a kick. Overall a nice easy recipe.
