Baked Parmesan Scallops

yummy and fast, these scallops are fabulous and fun! If your using frozen scallops, be sure they are thawed out all the way before prep.

"I used this recipe as part of a pasta dish. I made the scallops per the recipe, minus the parmesan, and then made angel hair pasta and sauteed asparagus with some olive oil and garlic. Then I added a little parmesan cheese on top. Absolutely delicious!!"

Ingredients

1/2 lbs medium-large scallops
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
1 olive oil
1/4 cup white wine
2 tbsp parmesan; grated
salt and pepper

Servings  

Preparation

preheat oven to 350 degrees

rinse scallops and place in baking dish in one layer

sprinkle scallops with bread crumbs and drizzle with olive oil

spread crunbs so that they cover scallops

add wine and bake for 15 mins.

remove and turn on broiler

srinkle parmesan cheese and broil until cheese has melted and scallops are slightly brown.

season with salt and pepper

1 olive oil. What is this? 1 cup, 1 teaspoon? There is no measurement.
