Suggest a better descriptionMix and sift flour, salt and baking powder. Rub in shortening with tips of fingers; make soft dough of sweet milk or water, cutting liquid in with a knife. Roll on a well-floured board, cut out with the usual biscuit-cutter and bake in a rather quick oven. Will serve eight.
