Ready in 4 hours 30 minutes

I found this one another recipe web site. I made it tonight for dinner and it was amazing. The balsamic help tenderize the meat as well as adding nice flavor.

"made some steaks with and w/o the thyme and i prefer w/o. I also added a dash of liquid smoke. overall its a nice marinade"

1/2 lb top round steak; 1 inch thick
2 tbl Soy Sauce
1 tbl olive oil
2 tbl balsamic vinegar
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp garlic powder
black pepper; to taste

Original recipe makes 2 Servings

1. Put all ingredients, except meat, in a container fitted with a lid; cover and shake.

2. Pour the marinade over the top round steak and cover.

3. Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight, turning the meat occasionally.

4. Grill or broil until done as desired.

5. Slice thinly.
