Ingredients

Are you making this? 
2 cups All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Butter
3/4 cup Brown sugar
2 large Eggs; beaten
2 1/3 cups overripe bananas; mashed

Original recipe makes 12

Servings  

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350.

Lightly grease 9 x 5 loaf pan.

In large bowl, combine flour, soda and salt.

In separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar.

Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.

Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten.

Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.

Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

Notes

I have made a lot of banana bread over the years. This is absolutely the best recipe that I have ever tried. Awesome. I also served this as a dessert with Coconut Ice Cream.

This recipe resulted in a perfect-looking, delicious loaf. I ended the baking at 52 minutes as the tooth pick was coming out clean. 5 stars!

I made this recipe many times it is delishes. I used unrefined coconut oil and super ripe bananas for it..

I tried this recipe for muffins.Reduce baking time to 20 min. Just make sure you flour the pan! I used baking cups, like a moron, and half of the muffin was stuck in each cup. The salvaged muffin tops, however, were very tasty.

Received mixed 3 great compliments & 1 critique. Overall it was good. It was not sweet nor overpowering on the banana taste. I was told it needed more banana & pinch of cinnamon. I liked it.
