"When the title said it's the "best", I didn't quite believe it until I tried. Omg! it IS the BEST! I made 1 according to your recipe and the next day it was all gone!! My hubby and kid eats it for breakfast, after-school snack, dessert, and even as a late-night bite. So I'm making this bread every day or every other day now.. Once I left it baking a bit longer in the oven, but it just turned out more crunchy, my hubby just loved it!!!! Thank you for sharing this great recipe! "

2 Eggs
1 c Sugar
1/2 c butter; Melted, or oil
1 ts Vanilla
4 tb Sour milk; see note
1 c Bananas; ripe, mashed
2 c Flour
2 ts Baking Powder
1 ts Baking soda
1 pn Salt
1/2 c Walnuts; chopped

Original recipe makes 12 Servings



1. In bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, milk and bananas, blending well. 2. In large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add banana mixture and blend only to moisten. Add walnuts, if desired. 3. Pour into lightly greased 9"x5" pan and bake at 350F for 1 hr until tester comes clean.

Note: For sour milk, add 1 tsp vinegar to fresh milk. Crunchy and sweet on the inside; moist and tender on the inside - delicious!

This is dynamite. Super moist and tasty. Not sure how much it is but I use 4 bananas and cut the baking time down to 45-50 minutes. Our second one this week is baking right now. My young'ens love it for breakfast.

Very yummy..easy to make..I used 1 cup flour 1 cup sr flour..instead of baking soda...cooked three and froze two for lunches x
