Preheat oven to 350 F.
Mash together 4 of the bananas and sugar. Let it stand for 15 minutes.
Add in the applesauce, vanilla, eggs and butter. Beat well.
Add flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and mix to combine. Swirl in cinnamon.
Coat 9x5 pan with butter and raw sugar. Pour mixture into pan. Slice last banana length wise and press into top. Sprinkle top with raw sugar.
Bake 50 minutes, or until toothpick comes out dry. Cool and serve with honey butter.
