Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350-degrees F. Grease 9X5-inch loaf pan.
Beat cream cheese, butter, and sugar in large bowl until well blended. Add bananas, eggs, and vanilla; mix well. Combine dry ingredients and mix in. Stir in nuts.
Pour into greased pan. Bake 1 hour 10 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool about 5 or 10 minutes and remove from pan, then cool completely before slicing.
Options:
I often add a handful or so of dried cranberries to the batter.
Can use light cream cheese.
Nuts can be omitted.
Note: Check the doneness prior to the 1-hour mark; I generally cook it for less time than called for.
