Cream butter and sugar then add eggs one at a time and mix well. Add vanilla and bananas. Mix together flour, soda, and power. Add to banana mixture. Then add 1/2 cup walnuts. Bake in loaf pan greased and floured for about 1 hour. Check with toothpick to make sure it is done.
