"This muffin is awesome! I only put in 2 bananas, but that ratio worked out pretty well for me. I also added a little bit of cinnamon and vanilla into the batter. Put the topping on like 5 minutes after they've been baking! I tried it before I put them in the oven and they turned out kind of sloppy, but putting it on a little after they've been in there worked out pretty well. I can't wait to use this recipe again!"
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Combine bananas, sugar, egg and butter; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fill greased or paper lined muffin cups three fourths full. Combine the first three topping ingredients; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over muffins. Bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until muffins test done. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack. Yield:1 dozen
herbgrower 1y agoCrumb topping too sweet and sugary .I think 1 tablespoon of butter for topping was not enough. Muffin tasted more like Banana cake not a muffin.
skroseberg 1y agoLight and cake like. Delicious.

lisaappiah 1y agoThese went way beyond my expectations. The entire family had seconds, including my very picky 4 year old. Didn't change a thing and tasted perfect. Thanks for sharing!
