Barbecued Spareribs California Style

1 review, 5 star(s). 100% would make again

Ready in 6 hours 05 minutes

These were so good that the ribs just fell off the bone! My whole family LOVED it. I added more like 8 dashes of Tabasco and it was great to eat with just enough bite to it.

5 pounds spareribs; cut 2-rib pieces
1 cup Cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1 cup Ketchup
2 cloves garlic; minced
1 dash hot pepper sauce; or
1 dash liquid smoke flavoring

Original recipe makes 4

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Arrange ribs on rack in baking pan. Brown in oven for 15 minutes on each side. Drain and put in slow cooker.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 10 hours or on HIGH 3 1/2 to 4 hours.

This recipe yields 4 servings.

These ribs just FALL off the bone. You don't even need a knife for this.
