tea bread will keep for seven days easily
the flavour improves with keping
soak fruit in tea overnight or until fruit is nice and plump suggest 2 hours minimum
stir in sugar beaten egg and flour mix well to combine all ingredients
pour mixture into a greased and lined 2lb loaf tin
bake at 180c for 13/4 hours
leave to cool in tin for 15 mins
remove from tin and allow to cool
servein slices spread with butter
