3/4 c Pizza sauce; or tomato pasta
4 8-inch Crusty rolls
1 tb olive oil
2 c Mushrooms; sliced
1 md Onion; cut into thin wedges
1 ts Dried basil; or oregano
1 1/2 c flank beef; Thinly sliced cooked
1 Green bell pepper; cut into
6 oz mild provolone; Thinly sliced
Salt and pepper
1/4 ts Red pepper flakes
1 lg Garlic; minced

In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, green pepper, onion, garlic, basil and red pepper flakes; cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until softened. Stir in beef and pizza sauce; cook until heated through. Remove from heat; season with salt and pepper to taste. Cut rolls along 1 side and open; layer with cheese slices. Place on baking sheet under preheated broiler for 1 minute or until cheese melts. Watch carefully. Spoon beef mixture into rolls. Yield: 4 servings Typed in MMFormat by Source: Fast & Easy Cooking.
