Suggest a better descriptionSaute onions and garlic in butter until tender. Remove from skillet with slotted spoon and set aside. Brown ground sirloin in same pan. Do not drain off juices. Pour in port wine and allow liquid to reduce by 1/4th. Sprinkle cornstarch over meat-wine mixture in skillet and stir until blended. Add onion mixture, mushrooms, sour cream and salt and pepper to taste. Stir to combine, cover, remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes to allow last ingredients to warm. Serve with noodles or rice.
