Great slow cooked beef roast in beer

Beef Roast
1 package Onion Soup Mix
1 package Brown Cravy Mix
1 bottle Dark Beer

Original recipe makes 4

Brown roast on both sides briefly on a hot pan. While that is getting going, mix the beer, gravy and onion soup mix in the crock pot. Crank it up to high, add the roast and cook for ~4 hours or until you can't stand it any more.

I added some mushrooms and worcestershire to this recipe and served with some bow-tie pasta. It was easy to do and delicious!

Very tasty and it literally couldn't be easier. I skipped the browning, and added baby carrots. I used a bottle of Guinness and it came out full of flavor and so tender.

Done this twice. Second time rubbed roast with pepper and left over night. Use 16oz Newcastle brown ale. Cooked on high for 6 was amazing!

Very easy to make, the meat was tender and very tasty. I added potatoes and baby carrots to the slow cooker. Yummy
