A Spanish favorite! Beef cubes in worcestershire sauce with mushrooms


1 lb beef tenderloin; cubed
1 can mushrooms pieces
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
6 tsp liquid seasoning
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/4 tsp paprika; (optional)
salt; to taste
1 tsp onion
2 tbsp olive or canola oil
6 cloves garlic; minced

Original recipe makes 4



Combine worcestershire sauce, liquid seasoning, garlic, sugar, paprika and black pepper in a bowl. Add a small amount of oil.

Pour liquid mixture over beef cubes, rub until marinade is completely absorbed and keep refrigerated for about 2 hours.

Using the rest of the oil and the onion, saute beef chunks until evenly browned. Add the remaining liquid mixture from the marinade, add mushrooms and a tbsp of butter.

Very good, left over meat was put on nachos and cheese and put under broiler!!!

So good i do this every week. Try butter with olive oil for frying for more flavor. You have to brown the beef so don't overcrowd pan, better do it in batches.

Great recipe! I just increased the garlic amount and next time I would probably do it in a slow cooker. Overall it's highly recommended!!!
