A simple but hearty meal cooked all day in a slow cooker. Goes great with fresh bread, or over a bed of white rice!
Coat beef cubes in flour. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef cubes and saute until evenly browned. Transfer browned beef cubes to slow cooker.
Add remaining ingredients, pouring water in last. Stir and cover. Cook on low for 10-12 hours, or on high for 5-6 hours.
Prepare vegetables and potatoes before browning the beef cubes, and gather into one bowl to have ready to pour into slow cooker all at once.
