Suggest a better descriptionCook and stir been in 2 T butter in 10-inch skillet over low heat until brown. Reserve 1/3 cup of the both. Stir remaining broth, the ketcup, garlic and salt into skillet. Heat to boiling, reduce heat.
(For stew meat, cover and simmer until beef is tender 1 to 1 1/2 hours.)
Stir in mushrooms and onion. Cover and simmer until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Shake remaining broth and flour in covered container (or stir in a bowl) and gradually stir into beef misture.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute; reduce heat.
Stir in sour cream and heat through.
Toss noodles with 1 T butter and serve beef mixture over noodles.
