Ingredients

3 cups self-rising flour; (like Gold Medal)
3 tablespoons Sugar
1 12-oz bottle beer
3 tablespoons Margarine; melted

Original recipe makes 12

Preparation

Heat oven to 375°. Grease loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches. Mix flour and sugar in medium bowl. Stir in beer. Beat 60 strokes with spoon. Spread dough in pan. Drizzle with melted margarine. Bake 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove loaf from pan. Cool on wire rack.
