Suggest a better descriptionMix the flour, salt, pepper, oil and eggs together in a medium-large size bowl. Pour in the beer and whisk until thoroughly combined and lump-free. Peel the onions and slice them into about 3/8" thick rounds. Separate the rings. Dip the rings in the batter, shaking off any excess, and fry in batches in hot oil (375°) until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Turn and continue frying for another 1-2 minutes, until both sides are golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels. Salt to taste.
