Beer Braised Beef In Crockpot

3 pounds lean beef stew meat; cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
2 medium onions; thinly sliced
1 8-oz can mushroom pieces; undrained
1 12-oz can beer
1 tablespoon Vinegar
2 cubes Beef bouillon
2 teaspoon Sugar
2 cloves Garlic; minced
1 teaspoon Thyme
2 Bay Leaves

Original recipe makes 1



Put the beef in the crockpot. Combine all the other ingredients and pour over the beef. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high 4 to 5 hours. Before serving thicken juices if desired.
